FOOD-CONTACT SURFACES
Grade 304 stainless steel is widely used in domestic and professional kitchens. A smooth, non-absorbent surface is easy to clean between food preparation tasks.

MATERIAL INTELLIGENCE / DWELL INOX
A precise material for rooms that work hard and still feel like home.
THE MATERIAL, EXPLAINED
We use stainless steel where its strength, cleanability and resistance to moisture have a real purpose. The surface can be brushed, coloured or given a wood-look expression, then composed with stone, glass and timber. Here is what the material does—and how to care for it honestly.
EIGHT REASONS TO CONSIDER IT
Grade 304 stainless steel is widely used in domestic and professional kitchens. A smooth, non-absorbent surface is easy to clean between food preparation tasks.
The alloy forms a protective surface that resists everyday moisture and many kitchen conditions. Appropriate cleaning and the correct grade still matter, especially around salt and harsh chemicals.
Stainless steel is strong, but it can scratch. Brushed and patterned finishes make everyday marks part of a lived-in surface; we help choose the finish for the way the room will be used.
Cabinet structures made from stainless steel do not swell like wood-based panels when exposed to moisture. That stability is especially useful around sinks, utility zones and bath vanities.
Stainless steel is non-combustible and performs well around ordinary cooking heat. Worktop design, adjacent materials and appliance clearances are still planned as a complete system.
A metal cabinet structure is not food for termites. We still coordinate it with the rest of the home, where other materials may need their own protection.
A soft cloth, mild detergent, clean-water rinse and drying are usually enough. Avoid steel wool, chloride-rich cleaners and abrasive scrubbing across the grain.
Its durability and recyclability make stainless steel a strong material choice over time. The most sustainable room is also one that can be maintained, repaired and enjoyed for years.

200+ FINISH POSSIBILITIES
Brushed silver is only one expression. Explore darker metallics, softer tones and wood-look directions, then select the final surface from physical samples in your own light.

Wipe spills promptly, rinse and dry after cleaning, and follow the grain on brushed surfaces. Stainless steel resists corrosion and wear, but it is not immune to scratches, staining or misuse. We specify the finish and advise on care for each room.
